Multiple People Feared Dead In Falls Township Mass Shooting

Multiple people are feared dead in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, after a man opened fire in Falls Township on Saturday morning, according to police reports.

The Falls Township Police Department warned residents on social media that officials issued a shelter-in-place order, asking everyone to abide by “all instructions given” and exercise caution.

“Police are asking residents to lock all doors and move to a central and secure location away from windows,” police wrote on Facebook.

No further information was offered about the situation. Fox 29 reported that sources said several people were shot on Edgewood Lane and Viewpoint Lane in Falls Township.

Social media profile Philly Crime Update, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that four people had been shot and killed in “three separate locations” and one other had been injured. According to the account, police were looking for a man armed with a shotgun who had carjacked a Gold Honda CR-V.

Representative Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, a Republican and Levittown native, wrote on X that there was an “active shooter alert” in Falls Township.

“We are monitoring a carjacking and a shooting in two sections of Falls Township,” he wrote. “I’m in touch with law enforcement officials as they pursue the suspect. More information to follow—please be alert of your surroundings and stay safe.”
