Myanmar’s Aung Suu Kyi faces most severe cost but – BBC Information
Army authorities in Myanmar have charged Aung San Suu Kyi with corruption, essentially the most severe cost laid in opposition to her to date.

Deposed chief Ms Suu Kyi is accused of accepting money and gold in bribes, and faces as much as 15 years in jail if discovered responsible.

She faces six different fees regarding alleged unlawful imports of walkie-talkies and inciting public unrest.

Ms Suu Kyi was arrested on 1 February when the navy seized energy in a coup, and has since been held on home arrest.
