Representative Nancy Mace, a South Carolina Republican, was outraged at ABC’s This Week host George Stephanopoulos on Sunday as she was pressed on her support for Donald Trump after he was found liable for sexual assault.
During the interview, Mace, also a rape survivor, was angry and defensive about her support for Trump, who was found to have sexually assaulted and defamed writer E. Jean Carroll.
“And it’s a shame that you will never feel, George,” Mace said. “And I’m not going to sit here on your show and be asked a question meant to shame me about another potential rape victim. I’m not going to do that.”
