North Korea has fired a suspected submarine-launched ballistic missile into waters off the coast of Japan, South Korea’s army has mentioned.
Pyongyang unveiled the missile in January, describing it as “the world’s strongest weapon”.
It comes weeks after South Korea unveiled an analogous weapon of its personal.
North Korea has carried out a flurry of missile assessments in latest weeks, together with of what it mentioned have been hypersonic and long-range weapons.
A few of these assessments violate strict worldwide sanctions.
