Former NFL star and convicted felon O.J. Simpson has a TikTok account—and on it, he’s bragging about being a “slayer of the women.”

Simpson, 76, was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, but was later found liable for their deaths in a civil lawsuit in 1995. The former Buffalo Bills player was married to Brown between 1985 and 1992 and has continued to maintain his innocence.

Since getting out of prison in late 2017 due to a series of felony charges connected to a 2007 robbery in Las Vegas, he has spoken out about social and political issues and now he’s posting videos online.

The TikTok account—with the first video being uploaded on May 4—isn’t verified but the bio reads: “The TikTok account of the one and only, O.J. Simpson. Author and Father.”

While there are only a few uploads, in a video posted on Thursday, Simpson responded to a comment that read, “O.J. you are the slayer of the women.”

“I don’t like to pat myself on the back… Oh yes I do,” he said, before laughing.

At the time of writing, the video had amassed 3.5 million views and more than 340,000 likes. Newsweek contacted Simpson for comment via X, formerly Twitter, on Friday.

People took to the comment section to share their shock over what he said, with many surprised he was posting this TikTok in the first place.

“He just bragging now lmao,” one person wrote.

“This gotta count as a confession,” said another.

“Technically he was found not guilty,” a third person commented.

“Bro can’t be tried for the same crime twice,” said another.

A fifth person added: “The fact that he laughs and jokes about it. He def did it.”

While many have deemed his video to be insensitive, there’s a chance that Simpson is trying to use this inappropriate moment to brag about his relationship with women, which he’s done before.

On his November 13 appearance on It Is What It Is, on which he is the official football analyst, he told the hosts Ma$e, Cam’ron and Treasure Wilson that he often meets women with “grandaddy issues.” He explained that he ventures to South Beach in Miami, where he meets “good-looking women” at clubs and bars.

“I’ve got to get an itinerary because you’re moving around like you’re younger than me,” Cam’ron said.

Simpson responded: “Well you’d be surprised by how many girls have father issues and grandaddy issues. You’d be shocked by how many of them girls have grandaddy issues.”

Before they discussed the sports topics of the day, Cam’ron said he wanted an example of “a female that had a granddaddy issue” that Simpson had encountered.

“This was from New Hampshire, it was one I liked, so I’ve got to say I did like her. It wasn’t a fleeting thing, I mean it lasted at least three days…she had to go back to school,” Simpson responded, with laughs from the hosts.

Cam’ron said if he wanted to go out and “get some girls” he should bring Simpson with him.

Simpson added: “Yeah well if you want some fresh new girls, you know what I mean.”
