The Ottawa police asked for the public’s help Monday in the search for a teenager who has been missing since March 13.

Anna Barbe, 14, was last seen in Barrhaven near the Marketplace Shopping Plaza, but police said in a news release that investigators think she could be in the Greater Toronto Area.

Barbe was described as a white female, 5-2 and 110 pounds with a slender build, blue eyes, long, brown hair and multiple facial piercings. She is likely wearing black “Hello Kitty” pajama pants, a black T-shirt, a grey or black sweater and fluffy black and white slippers. She may be carrying a black purse, police said.

Anyone with information about her current whereabouts or who may have seen her was asked to call the Ottawa police at 613-236-1222 extension 2355. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
