Owen Wilson enjoyed a special day out with his two sons at an L.A. Football Club match against the New York Red Bulls, giving fans a rare glimpse into his family life.

During the game on April 20 at BMO Stadium, Owen, 55, along with his children Ford Wilson, 13, and Finn Wilson, 11, were seen actively supporting the team, clad in L.A. jerseys and cheering enthusiastically from the sidelines.

Ford, Owen’s son with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell, is seen cheering loudly, while Finn, 11, whose mother is trainer Caroline Lindqvist, proudly points to the team logo on his jersey. Both boys displayed their long, shaggy blonde locks, much like their father’s famous hairstyle. The video was shared on the LAFC Instagram account.

Wilson, who also has a 5-year-old daughter, Lyla, with Varunie Vongsvirates, generally maintains a private personal life but has occasionally shared glimpses into his parenting experiences. Although he is not in a relationship with any of his children’s mothers, Wilson maintains a close proximity to his sons, ensuring a cohesive family environment where “everyone gets along,” according to PEOPLE.

Owen discussed the dynamics of his growing boys on The Ellen Degeneres Show in 2017, hilariously noting the future challenges of parenting teenagers. “Sometimes it feels like I’m already seeing how they’re gonna be as teenagers,” he said, foreseeing a time “where they’re gonna be ganging up on me.”

The Marley & Me actor also revealed in a 2021 interview with Esquire the joy he experiences from reading bedtime stories to his sons. “Sometimes telling the stories at night, you do take a little pride that these guys are into this story!” he expressed. “One of them even said, ‘Dad, you should do something with this. This is a really good story!’ It was about this little pack of boys in a post apocalyptic world, and there’s a pack of dogs—I play to my audience,” Owen said, seemingly relishing in this special time before his boys grow up.
