Owner Can’t Believe What Cat Chewed Through to Get to Treat Bag

A cat’s determination to get to a bag of treats has left viewers stunned on TikTok after seeing what she ate through to reach the prize.

There’s no doubt once a cat gets their mind set on something, there is no stopping them. One tuxedo cat got a whiff of treats coming from a duffle bag, with the sweet, deliciousness of them clouding her judgment.

The TikTok video posted last month by user @lycibxby revealed the bag of treats was completely destroyed. The feline ripped up the bag and left a circular hole. The video then pans to what the treats were originally sitting in and that duffle bag had the same hole shape.

The clip’s caption reads: “She be tempting for them temptations,” reached viral status since being shared, bringing in over 2.2 million views, 274,800 likes, and 2,190 comments.

This cat managed to rip through both the duffle bag layer and the packaging to reach her goal of endless treats. The good news is that the cat did not get sick following this incident and the owner wrote in the comments section that she is fine.

“I’m glad nothing bad happened to her because I literally just got home from the vet when this happened,” @lycibxby wrote.

It doesn’t matter where you put the food, cats are determined animals and will find a way to get to it. Some cats squeeze into refrigerators without being detected, proving their humans are no match for their sneaky ways. Other cats have learned to open cupboards, grab the snack, and run away.

Forget about child-proofing a house, parents need gadgets to cat-proof a place from an adamant feline.

Even as frustrating as it would be to discover this, @lycibxby wrote in the comments that she couldn’t be mad. The cat is just too cute.

TikTok users were just as shocked as the owner that the cat managed to chew through the bags.

“The AUDACITY for them to act so chill after doing something so crazy,” wrote one user. She went back for more even after her owner caught her.

Another added: “For real what is IN THESE cuz my cat goes feral as well.”

“Typical tuxedo cat behavior (mine is a terror too),” one TikTok user commented.

“bruh my cat opens drawers for them,” added a fourth user.
