Owner Leaves Internet In Hysterics As She Explains Her Cat’s ‘Condition’

A cat owner has gone viral on TikTok after revealing the unexpected condition her cat has developed—and the unfortunate symptoms it often leads to.

In the video, TikTok user @mildwestsami is seen holding her ginger cat Monty, while explaining “his condition.” As she holds Monty upside down with all four legs outstretched, anyone might think there was something wrong with him—but fear not, that isn’t the case.

The TikToker goes on to explain that his condition is the mere fact “that he’s extremely orange” and is undoubtedly lacking in brain cells. Needless to say, this has led to countless unexpected and scary moments, as @mildwestsami joked about the symptoms they have to deal with “on a daily basis.”

Since the clip was posted on March 13, it has delighted many TikTok users, and it’s already gained over 6.4 million views and more than 1.4 million likes at the time of writing.

Among the many issues that often leaves the TikToker and her husband in disbelief, Monty is incredibly loud, requires constant attention, but “his biggest downfall” is that he has zero sense of spatial awareness—as if that wasn’t clear from watching the video.

That lack of awareness was made abundantly clear recently, as @mildwestsami explained that Monty tried to defy the laws of gravity in the middle of the night by testing out whether he could fly. Before leaving you in too much suspense, the answer was a firm “no,” with Monty landing right on top of his owner while he was sleeping.

“My dear sweet husband fell victim to this when he was sound asleep in our marital bed, and Monty was looming from high above on a bookshelf nearby,” the TikToker explained. “When around about 3 a.m. Monty was thinking to himself, ‘you know what, if birds can fly, I think I could fly too.'”

Sadly for Monty, that just isn’t how evolution works and he’s a long way away from gracefully gliding through the sky. Instead, all 15 pounds of him fell straight onto the bed and landed directly on his very unimpressed owner.

Alongside the hilarious video detailing his unusual antics and symptoms of being orange, the TikToker joked that it “truly never ends.”

While his owners weren’t best pleased with him that day, Monty has certainly delighted millions of social media users, leading to more than 5,700 comments on the viral video. Many people also responded by sharing their own cats’ symptoms, and there’s no diagnosis needed because they’re just orange.

One comment reads: “I feel like holding him like that is the only way you are actually able to, orange cats are wild lol.”

Another TikToker wrote: “Is it bad that I want the chaos of an orange cat.”

While another person joked: “my orange was a rescue we thought would die after getting thrown so I thought she probably had brain damage. Come to find out she just had orange.”
