Pompidou and Millennium Dome architect Richard Rogers dies aged 88 – BBC Information
The architect Richard Rogers, who designed the Pompidou in Paris and London’s Millennium Dome, has “handed away quietly” on the age of 88, a spokesman has stated.
Lord Rogers was considered one of many world’s most profitable and influential architects, additionally designing the Pompidou in Paris, the European Courtroom of Human Rights in Strasbourg, the Welsh Parliament’s Senedd constructing, Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, and three World Commerce Middle in New York.
He received most of his business’s main honours and was knighted in 1991.
