Prince Louis’ Awkward Dilemma Caught on Camera

Prince Louis was seen struggling to decide whether to walk with Prince William or Kate Middleton in an adorable clip from the royal family’s walk after attending a Christmas church service.

The young royal was initially with his mother and older brother Prince George as the Wales family made their way from church at Sandringham, King Charles III’s estate in the east of England, on December 25.

However, after a moment of indecision, he dropped back to join William, who was hanging back with Princess Charlotte and Mia Tindall, cousin to Louis, Charlotte and George.

One fan posted footage of the moment on X, formerly Twitter, with the message: “Prince Louis couldn’t decide whether to go with Mom or Dad.”

And in a separate viral post, viewed 144,000 times, the same royal watcher wrote: “Not William or Kate by their side, and yet they went to interact with the public, they shook hands, greeted them, accepted flowers and gifts all as if they were adults and they are only 10, 8 and 5 years old. The Wales children are much more confident than last year.”

William and Kate and their children took Mia Tindall, daughter to Zara and Mike Tindall, along with them for the walk, sharing the spotlight with the nine-year-old royal cousin.

King Charles and Queen Camilla led the royal walk to church on Christmas morning followed by the Wales family, with Mia in tow.

Mia’s parents followed behind, with Zara pictured alongside Sarah Ferguson, who made a surprise return to the fold.

Nicknamed Fergie by the British press, she has not been seen on the royal family’s Christmas walk to church since December 1991, the year before she separated from ex-husband Prince Andrew.

Shortly after their separation in 1992, the Duchess of York was photographed having her toes kissed by her lover John Bryan.

In her 1996 autobiography, My Story, she described how she was staying with the royals in Balmoral at the time and could not face joining them for breakfast: “The Queen was furious. I had apologised, of course, but penance and contrition have their limits—there are some things which cannot be put right.

“Her anger wounded me to the core, the more because I knew it was justified. I had violated her trust.

“I’d betrayed the bond that we’d built ever since she had invited me to Royal Ascot in 1985, as one of the younger people she enjoyed having about.

“The Queen had been so saddened when Andrew and I separated.

“But she had never let it affect our personal ties, even as I became distinctly non grata at her Court.

“There was something special between us, and maybe that was what moved me to mount some feeble defence, instead of just slinking out of her room.”
