As reports circulated that his former-ally-turned-mutineer Yevgeny Prighozin had been killed in a plane crash, President Vladimir Putin attended an event marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk, where he praised Russian forces fighting in Ukraine, saying, “All our soldiers fight bravely and valiantly.”
