The Samsung QN95D is the top of the line 2024 4K Neo QLED TV and it is one of the best options you will find for gaming and streaming in 4K this year. We love the video quality, HDR performance and black performance.
We spent time with the 65-inch model testing it with the PS5 and exploring the snappy smart TV software, beautiful ambient mode and streaming apps. The gaming performance is great, with support for 4K at 120Hz and we love the Game Bar that allows us to quickly change important settings.
This is part of the 2024 Samsung lineup, including the QN800D 4K Neo QLED. The Samsung QN95D is available in the 65-inch size we tested, a 75-inch and a 85-inch size. We are waiting to see the final pricing of this model.
Display & Performance

The Samsung QN95D is one of the best 4K TVs that Samsung offers. The display is vibrant and images are crisp. The HDR performance is great with very little blooming and it delivers deep blacks, nearing OLED levels.
Watching 4K content from Netflix and the Apple TV app, we loved how our favorite movies looked. Samsung’s upscaling brought new life to older TV shows, with upgraded visuals on 720P and 1080P content.

Our current gaming obsession is Call of Duty: Warzone and the QN95D is a great way to experience the game on a larger screen. While our teens love to lean into a monitor, this big display is perfect for enjoying games a little farther back. The TV supports 4K at 120Hz, to take full advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The QN95D supports Variable Refresh Rate and low input lag. The features all combine to deliver an experience that is perfect for an older gamer, while meeting the needs of anyone in our house. We loved the great HDR performance and the deep blacks that allow us to immerse into the game while easily seeing opponents drop into the map.
The TV audio is better than most models thanks to a 4.2.2 channel audio system that supports Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound+. If you are in a bedroom or small room, this is good enough for TV shows and movies. When paired with a supporting Samsung soundbar, like the Q990D, the Q S-Symphony feature integrates the TV speakers into the mix for an even better experience.

Samsung’s Tizen powered smart TV checks all the boxes most users will need to avoid plugging in an Apple TV or similar box. The operating system is quick and it supports the most popular streaming apps.
One of our favorite features is the ambient mode. This allows you to pick from cinemegraphs, images, your own photos and other cool visuals that can highlight the TV or let it blend into the room a little more. The Daily+ feature even allows you to use the QN95D to workout, connect into your SmartThings account, use it as a remote display or connect into Hue lights.

The Samsung QN95D features a pedestal design like most of the 2024 lineup. It is easy to set up and blends into your home. The back of this TV includes areas to run the cables to the center of the unit and then down the back. of the unit for a clean installation.
This model does not use One Connect technology, like the 8K and OLED models, so you need to run each connection up to the TV. It supports HDMI 2.1 with four ports, one of which is an eARC port for connecting a soundbar. Samsung’s remote control is solar-powered, so you’ll rarely need to change batteries.
Is the Samsung QN95D Worth Buying?

The Samsung QN95D is one of the best 4K TVs that you can buy in 2024. You’ll get great streaming performance, above-average built-in sound and a robust Smart TV experience. The gaming performance is great for intense games like Call of Duty: Warzone and laid-back games like Madden 24.
