Sri Lanka faces environmental catastrophe as oil pours from stricken ship – BBC Information
There are fears that lots of of tonnes of oil may spill into the ocean off Sri Lanka from a stricken cargo ship, including to what’s already a significant environmental catastrophe.
The container ship caught fireplace and big portions of plastic pellets on board have already unfold alongside Sri Lanka’s western shoreline, polluting pristine seashores and threatening the nation’s fishing trade.
