Grooms are almost expected to cry on their wedding days. Rarely does a wedding go by where the groom doesn’t shed an obligatory tear after seeing his partner walk down the aisle towards him, ready to spend their lives together.

While the emotions typically run highest during the wedding and in the lead-up to it, one woman’s new husband has spent much of their subsequent honeymoon crying too, due to the overwhelming emotion he feels every time he lays his eyes on his wife.

“When you can’t look at your husband because he starts crying on the spot,” the woman said in a newly viral TikTok video that captured his teary-eyed joy.

TikTokers watched as the newly-wed was filmed bawling his eyes out after looking straight into his wife’s eyes. The video’s creator, Kristen Gallagher, could be heard laughing in the background.

The viral video has been viewed more than 610,000 times since it was first shared to TikTok, making it one of the creator’s most viewed videos to date. Gallagher has shared multiple other clips that document her and her new husband’s run-up to their big day.

The post had been captioned: “He just has a big heart”.

What Do the Comments Say?

Since it had been shared to the social media platform on March 6 by @kristengallagher_, the TikTok post has been liked by over 129,000 users and commented on more than 680 times.

Some TikTokers have laughed along with Gallagher, while others have either swooned over her husband or drawn attention to their own similar experiences.

“That man is in LOVE,” one user wrote.

Another user added: “I cry immediately when I realize that my mum exists, like I love her so much it’s overwhelming”.

“If he ain’t like this, I don’t want him,” a third user joked.

A different user shared: “I want a man with a big heart who cries over me”.

“This is my fiancé ever since we had the ‘we are for sure going to get engaged’ talk. Like, not even just since we’ve been engaged. A good two months prior to that,” another user wrote.

“Is he a Pisces?” one TikToker asked, poking fun at the belief that people of the astrological sign can be emotionally sensitive.
