More than 100,000 homes around Houston, Texas, and the surrounding area were left without power on Friday due to a power outage.
As of 2.30am on Friday morning, approximately 107,372 customers were without power in the southern U.S. city, according to an outage map provided by CenterPoint Energy.
The outages are believed to have been caused by poor weather conditions overnight, including thunderstorms and hail.
