Donald Russell, a 94-year-old American man, is fulfilling a dream by constructing a Gothic-inspired edifice within the coronary heart of the French countryside along with his son.
Mr Russell taught himself stone-carving in addition to the rules of thirteenth century Gothic structure – and steadily his masterwork is rising from the Burgundy hills.
