Tiger Woods’ drive from knees goes viral, draws wild reactions

Tiger Woods finally made an appearance on Barstool’s golf podcast, The Fore Play Pod. He joined Riggs, Trent and Frankie on a golf course to provide some tips and have some fun.

Each of them had a specific part of their game they talked to him about, and by the time he got to Riggs, who wanted help with his driver, they decided to have a long-drive competition.

However, Woods didn’t just stripe it normally. Nope, he got on his knees and still outdrove Riggs.

Woods, who had a horrific car crash in 2021, has limped around for the last couple of years. He recently made his return to the PGA Tour at his event in the Bahamas, The Hero World Challenge, where the limp was almost nonexistent.

To see him get down on his knees and hit it so well, then essentially get up without any issues — Tiger fans were thrilled to see him do that.

The video went wild on social media and has almost a million views on YouTube in a little over 24 hours.

When fans saw the competition, their reactions went rampant.

Trevor Immelman loved the content and poked fun of the podcaster.

Riggs seemed confident after his drive, too. He hit a bomb, prompting Woods to make it interesting.

So many people enjoyed this moment. Even The Today Show had a segment about the interaction. Only Tiger Woods could move the needle enough for the YouTube clip to be shown on national television.

It’s also crazy to think this could be one of the last moments Woods filmed something in Nike gear since their 27-year relationship ended earlier this week.

What a great moment for Woods to join a world that he isn’t used to. The Big Cat isn’t typically someone who does stuff like this.

This viral video would have never happened 15 years ago because Woods wasn’t as laid back. Now that he has a 14-year-old son, who likely watches Fore Play, it seems the 15-time major champion decided to have fun.

Growing the game comes in different forms, and this video proves it.
