Turns Out the ‘Drawing on Wall Toddler Stage’ Isn’t Just for Humans

A dog owner learned the hard way that toddlers aren’t the only ones who go through a drawing on the wall phase.

Susie, a Goldendoodle, sandwiched her way in between the wall and the couch with a pen in her mouth, which could be seen in a TikTok video that was posted by user @ellaandsusie on February 25. Of course, the pen cap was off and Susie took full advantage of it. The puppy was in the middle of creating her masterpiece when her owner caught her in the act.

In Susie’s mind, she was creating art as her movements made several lines on the wall. But the owner, on the other hand, didn’t see it that way. She attempted to squeeze her way behind the couch to get Susie out, which only made the dog back up and keep “drawing.”

The text on the video reads: “I guess the drawing on wall toddler stage doesn’t specify to humans.”

This pup is proving that toddlers aren’t the only ones who like to draw on the wall. It is a phase of life that can hit even the most unlikely of living creatures. When there’s an art vision, there is no stopping the creative process.

The lucky part of where this dog’s artwork is located is that no one will see it behind the couch. It’s a problem the owner can fix later unlike toddlers who usually draw on the wall in the open.

TikTok Users React

The TikTok video has since reached over 1 million views, 174,100 likes, and 343 comments as of Monday afternoon.

“I’m sorry, but her slowly backing away after eye contact just adds to the goofiness,” one TikTok user wrote.

Luckily, Susie has a face that makes it impossible to stay mad at, with one user commenting: “Such a cute troublemaker.”

“I used the reasoning ‘dogs don’t draw on walls’ to justify why apartments shouldn’t have pet rent. I stand corrected,” added a third user.

While some TikTok users feel the pain that comes with getting the ink off the wall, others are celebrating this dog’s beautiful artwork. “Obviously with talent like that, she is destined for great things. BANKSY better watch out,” a user posted.
