UK says lawyer is Chinese language undercover agent searching for to affect British politics – BBC Information
The UK Safety Service Mi5 has issued a uncommon warning, accusing a lawyer, Christine Lee, of working as an agent for the Chinese language state and making an attempt to affect British politicians.
The Safety Service stated that Christine Lee was engaged in political interference on behalf of the Chinese language Communist Celebration.
She had made substantial donations together with to the workplace of the Labour MP and former Commerce Minister Barry Gardiner.
The UK Residence Secretary Priti Patel stated that it was “deeply regarding” however stated the federal government had measures in place to establish such actions.
