UK tightens sanctions on Russia over Ukraine invasion fears – BBC Information
The UK has mentioned it’s going to “widen” its sanctions on the Kremlin to incorporate “firms concerned in propping up the Russian state,” as NATO allies depth efforts to discourage a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine.
America has warned President Putin of “devastating” new sanctions if an assault takes place.
Moscow has deployed round 100,000 troops round Ukraine and is looking on NATO to rule out the nation ever becoming a member of the western navy alliance.
