An owner is at a loss for words after discovering one of the goats managed to sneak into the house.
The sliding door is closed and locked from the goats, but right next to the door is a small doggy door. Surely that is not big enough for a goat to fit in, right? Think again!
The December 30 TikTok video shared to the account @goodlucksanctuary shows the goat squeezing his way through the door.
The owner asked what all the viewers were thinking: “How do you do that?”
Once the goat started making his way through, there was no turning back. He used all his might, scrapping his legs to pull him forward. A slippery, hardwood floor wasn’t going to stop this determined goat.
The video quickly went viral with more than 12.6 million views, 1.3 million likes and over 17,400 comments. People were completely shocked.
One person wrote: “Like I see how it happened, but it still doesn’t make sense.”
“Uh oh. Soon there will be three goats in there. He just showed them,” commented a viewer.
The other two goats were looking at him in amazement. The one that made it inside looked back at the other two as if he were trying to say, “I told you so.”
Another viewer pointed out: “The chain tells a story.”
Other TikTok users asked about the chain, to which the owner replied with a separate video. This very smart goat clearly does not want to be away from his owner. When the chain isn’t locked, he manages to headbutt the door wide open, bringing along his friends.

The size of a doggy door will depend on the dog’s size. The smallest, typically for Chihuahuas or Yorkies, will be 6-by-7 inches and the largest will run 12-by-23 inches. The owner said in the video that the doggy door was made for small breeds and yet the goat managed to fit through it.
A goat’s size varies. On the small size, goats can be about 20 pounds and 18 inches tall. The larger goats, such as Indian Jamnapari, Swiss Saanen and Alpine, can weigh 250 pounds and stand 42 inches tall.
There are three types of domestic goats, each one used for meat, dairy or fiber. In total, there are more than 200 recognized domestic breeds, according to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute.
