Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokic has defined his position. Coming into the league, Jokic was viewed as just another European center who was taken in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft. Nobody thought that he would be what we see of him today.

He’s hands-down the best player in basketball right now and is on pace for a Hall of Fame career. While Jokic has accomplished so much thus far and is nowhere close to being done, he still amazes NBA fans every night.

His latest game against the New York Knicks on Thursday was no different. In the second quarter, Jokic once again made another highlight play, this time with his pass-making ability. Check out this insane no-look pass from the two-time NBA MVP.

We’re all used to Jokic doing insane things on the basketball court, but even the Nuggets broadcast team was speechless. Jokic made an impressive behind-the-back, no-look, over-the-head, one-hand pass to Aaron Gordon. He makes a highlight play almost every single, and the reigning NBA Finals MVP still amazes us night in and night out.

Aside from that terrific pass, the Nuggets came out on top against the defensive-minded Knicks, 113-110. Jokic chimed in with 30 points, the second leading scorer for the night, 11 assists, and 14 rebounds to record his 22nd triple-double of the season.

The Nuggets sit as the number two seed in the Western Conference (49-21), tied for the number one seed with the Oklahoma City Thunder (48-20). Jokic and the Nuggets have been playing great basketball all season long, especially as of late as the regular season winds down. The Nuggets are in prime position to repeat as champions, and outside of health, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t.

They will have the best player on their side each and every night in the postseason. With Jokic on their side and his playmaking ability, the Nuggets are the team to beat. To be the champs, you have to beat the champs.
