Whistleblower says UK’s “chaotic” Afghan withdrawal led to homicide of some left behind – BBC Information
The British authorities has been defending its withdrawal from Afghanistan because the Taliban seized energy, after a UK authorities whistleblower stated the operation was “chaotic” and “dysfunctional” and it was clear that a few of these Afghans left behind had been murdered by the Taliban.

Afghans who had served alongside British troops or diplomatic employees have been all eligible for evacuation, as western forces pulled out in August 2021.

Nevertheless Raphael Marshall, a former worker on the UK Overseas Workplace, stated that understaffing meant that hundreds of emails from Afghans pleading for assist from the British authorities weren’t learn.

Mr Marshall stated that of the 95% of candidates left behind “it’s clear that some have since been murdered by the Taliban”. He additionally claimed that the Prime Minister Boris Johnson had personally pushed for animals to be rescued, on the “direct expense” of people.
