Whoopi Goldberg believes we’re not alone out here.

The View cohost confirmed her belief in aliens on the Thursday, March 28 episode of the talk show, claiming that the creatures are “watching us.”

Goldberg — who won her first Oscar in 1991 for her role as a medium in Ghost — was sincere when she discussed her beliefs while speaking with her costars and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire star Kumail Nanjiani.

When Sunny Hostin asked Nanjiani if he believed in ghosts, the Big Sick star explained he was unsure of his thoughts because he had “never had an encounter.” Aliens, on the other hand, are “circling us, waiting for us to get it together, so they can come on down,” he said.

“They’re already here. They’ve been here for quite some time,” Goldberg interjected. When Nanjiani asked what they were doing here, Goldberg replied: “They’re watching us.”

“They’re talking to Whoopi,” Hostin quipped, while Haines couldn’t help but reference Goldberg’s role in Ghost.

“She talks to ghosts, not aliens. Duh,” Haines told the audience, putting her arm around Goldberg. “The movie was Ghost, not Alien. I got you, girl.”

Goldberg — who is one of the only EGOT winners in Hollywood — was a hot commodity during Thursday’s chat with Nanjiani, who requested her phone number to impress his wife.

While discussing working with legends Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd in the new Ghostbusters, Nanjiani said he was still starstruck from time to time.

“[Dan Aykroyd] calls me sometimes and I still take a screen cap every time and send it to my friends like, ‘Look at that: Dan Aykroyd is calling me,'” the actor joked.

“That’s like me with Whoopi,” Alyssa Farah Griffin quipped, which is when Nanjiani took his own shot.

“Whoopi, I’ll give you my number, please call me just once so I can have the screen cap. Just once. I want to make my wife jealous,” he laughed.

Goldberg’s light-hearted conversation with Nanjiani was in stark contrast with two separate moments on Tuesday’s show: one in which the Color Purple star scolded an audience member for filming the episode on their phone, and the other when Goldberg called out a producer for interrupting a discussion about former president Donald Trump’s legal woes.
