Witnessing the erupting Canary Islands volcano – BBC Information
Lava continues to be streaming down an erupting volcano on La Palma within the Spanish Canary Islands, forcing authorities to evacuate a whole bunch of houses, because the lava gushes in the direction of the ocean.
Native officers have warned the lava may set off chemical reactions when it reaches the ocean, inflicting explosions and the discharge of poisonous gases.
