A video of a woman who was not prepared for the spectacle that arrived after ordering a cocktail during a work trip has gone viral on TikTok.
The video was shared by Kayla Burley (@kaylanburley) and has had 8.3 million views since it was posted three days ago.
A message overlaid on the video says: “I’m literally on a work trip, ordered a frozen margarita and received the gift of a lifetime.”
While laughing hysterically, the woman says in the clip: “I’m crying. I ordered a margarita, I’m by myself…” She then points to a drink glass adorned by pieces of watermelon and other fruit around its rim, with what appears to be a duck-shaped toy at its center.
Cocktail umbrellas, a bendy straw and a tinsel-like decoration are shown sticking out of the glass. The drink is served on a round platter that comes with a sparkler going off on the side of the dish.
A caption shared with the post says: “Should I come back tomorrow.”
The latest post comes as the global cocktail mixers market size was projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 8.7 percent from 2022 to 2030, according to a report by Grand View Research, a market research and consulting company headquartered in San Francisco.
The development of innovative products and “attractive innovative packaging” was found to be a major trend in the industry, according to the report.
Rising consumer demand for premium products with innovative package designs, flavors and brands was found to be fueling the industry’s growth, the report said.
Cocktails offer an extensive range of options for customers, including healthier products. “Bars and restaurants are focusing on originating new cocktails using healthy elements, which is expected to accelerate the market growth over the forecast period,” according to the report.
‘That’s Not a Margarita, That’s an Experience’
Users on TikTok were amused by the moment captured in the latest viral clip.
