We all know what red flags to look out for in people, but how about dogs? One dog owner recently went viral after sharing her pup’s “red flags” in a hilarious clip that has left the internet in stitches.

In the clip, shared on TikTok on Monday under the username the.lab.woody, the woman shares her “labrador puppy’s red flags,” and users on the internet surely can relate to them.

A caption explains: “1. raises his voice at me when we disagree. 2. is super messy… and always expects me to clean up after him. 3. he’s unemployed… and lazy. Just lays around the house while I’m out working. 4. he’s a bit of a klepto.”

While there’s nothing you can do about your dog being unemployed and expecting you to clean up after them, you can train them to stop barking when it’s not necessary.

One thing that you shouldn’t do when trying to train your dog is shout at them, which will only make the problem worse, according to the Humane Society.

If you think that your dog is barking to get your attention, the first thing you should do is ignore them, so that they know this is not the kind of interaction you like. You should also make sure that your dog gets enough physical activity throughout the day. In fact, tired dogs are much less likely to start barking.

There are many ways you can stop your dogs from barking excessively, from desensitizing them to the stimulus, to simply distracting them with a treat, however, if nothing works, it may be time to contact a dog behaviorist.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 460,400 views and 46,200 likes on the platform.

One user, Shesellsseashellsbytheseashore, commented: “As I’m watching this my lab puppy stole a tissue and has her toys all over the house.”

User77482496875 said: “My chocolate lab is nine months old. He will not bark. But the rest I agree 100%.” And Dennis Wade added: “And wouldn’t have it any other way. Enjoy it please. It goes way [too] fast.”
