From the way random people were snapping pictures of Kailee O’Brien’s car recently, you would have thought she was driving a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, but that was not the case.

In a video posted to TikTok account @kaileeobrien_ with over 37.1 million views, O’Brien films multiple people taking pictures of her car as she’s parked in various locations.

“Me wondering why people are taking pictures of my car…” reads the text.

The video then cuts to O’Brien’s husky, Luna, who is leaning out of a back passenger window, looking splendid in her pink ski goggles.

“I can’t tell u how many Instagram stories she’s been on,” reads the caption.

Many viewers on TikTok shared stories of their own dogs wearing goggles, and if your dog likes to stick their head out of the window during car journeys, you might want to invest in some too.

“Fitting your pet with dog goggles for car rides can protect their eyes from irritants,” Hill’s Pet Nutrition advises. “Goggles can also be critical for dogs suffering eye complications, such as conjunctivitis or glaucoma. And the good news is, if you train your pup and do your research, there’s almost certainly a pair of goggles that your dog will feel comfortable wearing no matter the occasion.”

If the beach is your dog’s happy place, then you might also want to buy them some goggles.

“If you and your dog love playing on the beach, goggles will protect their eyes from sand,” it says. “Maybe you take to the open roads together on a motorcycle or bike; goggles will ensure their eyes are safe from wind-blown debris along the freeway. Once you’ve trained your dog to wear their sunglasses comfortably, you’ll want to ensure you have a pair for traveling.”

Make sure any goggles you buy have ultraviolet (UV) protection, as this can protect dogs eye health in the long term, and can also help dogs with conjunctivitis, glaucoma and other eye conditions, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC).

Users on TikTok loved the video.

“Both of my german shepherds have sunglasses for when we go on car rides and theyve almost caused an accident or 2 cause people want photos,” shared one user.

“I have a husky who wears goggles in the car when he’s out the window too! this happens all the time but it’s nice that it makes someone’s day!,” wrote another user.

“Geez…people don’t even try and be subtle anymore when taking pics,” commented another.
