Two women accused of killing a man one of them met online allegedly purchased, among other things, a hand saw the day the man went missing, according to local law enforcement.

On Friday, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed the arrest of 21-year-old Carroll County resident Audrey Zalky in connection with the killing of 21-year-old Gwinnett County resident Leondre Flynt, who was last seen leaving his home in July. Another woman, Destiny Stephens, was arrested in connection with Flynt’s death in November, after police searched an apartment and reported finding evidence that he had been shot there on the day he was last seen on July 29.

Both women are currently charged with murder and concealing the death of another. Zalky is awaiting extradition to Atlanta where she will face the charges. A third individual, Ahmir Bobo, is also believed to have aided in Flynt’s death and the disposal of his body, but has not yet been arrested.

Though officials have listed Flynt’s suspected date of death as July 29, Atlanta police were not aware of the incident until August 16. The subsequent investigation, police claim, showed that the man had met Zalky online and was communicating with her prior to his disappearance.

Investigators also determined that a “shots fired” call was made near the area around the Buckhead apartment where Flynt is believed to have been killed. A neighbor told police that a bullet hole had been left in their wall. Bobo, who lived in the apartment across from that unit, later told law enforcement that a gun handled by one of his female friends had gone off.

Later, police were able to track Flynt’s vehicle, a GMC Canyon pickup truck, on the day of his disappearance to a Lowe’s location in Atlanta. Security footage from the location reportedly showed Zalky and Stephens exiting the vehicle and entering the store where they are believed to have purchased a hand saw and bolt cutters. Cell phone data later indicated that Stephens had been near Bobo’s apartment complex and the Lowe’s location around the times established in the investigation. Two days later, the vehicle was tracked to Detroit.

As of Saturday, Flynt’s body has yet to be recovered. On August 16, the date when the investigation began, maintenance workers at the apartment complex reported finding what appeared to be blood stains on a railing and a red trail leading into the building’s parking garage. The investigation into Flynt’s disappearance and suspected death remains ongoing.
