On the primary anniversary of the homicide of George Floyd, members of his household have met President Biden, and in Minneapolis a celebration of his life has taken place.
The African-American was killed within the metropolis by a white police workplace, Derek Chauvin, who knelt on George Floyd’s neck for greater than 9 minutes.
His loss of life led to world protests towards racism and police brutality.
