Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene warned of a man that Democrats are “most afraid of” on Tuesday.

“Tony Bobulinski deposition breaking for lunch. Bobulinski seems to be the one man Democrats are most afraid of,” Greene said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

“Yelling and sputtering politically charged questions yet having no concern about the President of the United States and his son’s business deals with the CCP, Democrats are already trying to create their cover up and narrative on the deposition. After the facts given, it will be a desperate attempt at lying again for the Biden’s.”

Newsweek reached out to Greene’s office via email for comment.

On Tuesday, Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, appeared before the House Judiciary and Oversight committees in a closed-door testimony amid Republicans’ ongoing attacks on President Joe Biden’s son.

Bobulinski, a U.S. Navy veteran, testified in October that he served as the CEO of SinoHawk Holdings and explained that he worked with Hunter Biden along with the Chinese Communist Party-linked CEFC China Energy, which went bankrupt in 2020.

On X, conservative commentator Benny Johnson shared images of Bobulinski’s opening statement made to the House committees on Tuesday, when he said: “I want to be crystal clear: From my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently come to learn, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the Brand’ being sold by the Biden family.”

“Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an enabler, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability,” Bobulinski said. “The only reason any of these international business transactions took place—with tens of millions of dollars flowing directly to the Biden family—was because Joe Biden was in high office. The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period.”

In his opening statement, Bobulinski added: “I have only told the truth, I continue to tell the truth, I have the facts and, as we will discuss today, I also have the receipts to back them up.”

Since gaining control of the House, Republicans have taken aim at Hunter Biden and have attempted to link his alleged business dealings to his father. Last month, Hunter Biden walked out of a House Oversight Committee hearing after Republicans sought to hold him in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena.

The subpoena stemmed from an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden and if he benefited from his son’s alleged business dealings.

In August, one of Hunter Biden’s former business partners, Devon Archer, testified before the House Oversight Committee and reportedly said that Joe Biden spoke with his son and other business associates on the phone several times.

However, Democratic Representative Dan Goldman downplayed the testimony, saying in August: “There is not a shred of evidence of a single conflict of interest of President Biden ever doing anything in connection or in relation to Hunter Biden’s business ventures, other than advocating for the removal of a prosecutor general who was advantageous to Burisma.”
