O.J. Simpson, a former NFL star who was accused of killing his wife, is dead after succumbing to cancer, according to his family.
In a post to X on Thursday, formerly Twitter, the family said he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
“During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,” the post from the Simpson family read.
