All cats can be quirky and silly, but orange ones in particular are known for being the funniest. A cat owner has left the internet in stitches after sharing a clip of her orange feline’s hilarious facial expression as he contemplates stealing her food.

In a post shared on TikTok on Monday, under the username irelandreitarose, the cat can be seen staring at his owner’s crispy bacon with eyes wide open, trying to get as close as possible to the plate, inhaling the smell,

Meanwhile his owner is holding his head back to prevent him from getting his fangs on the food. A caption shared along with the post says: “Orange cats for you.”

While bacon is not toxic to cats, veterinarians suggest they really shouldn’t be eating any because it’s unhealthy for them.

According to pet wellness experts Pet Keen, bacon has a lot more fat that cats should be eating, and it is also very high in sodium, which can lead to health issues such as hypernatremia, a condition that affects the cat’s kidneys, causing lethargy, restlessness, diarrhea, vomiting, and even seizures.

“This isn’t to say that you can’t give your cat a very tiny piece of bacon once in a blue moon or that something terrible will happen if your kitty steals a slice of bacon from the table. But bacon, in general, isn’t the best food to give your pet,” the website added.

The video went viral on social media and has so far received more than 8.5 million views and 2 million likes on the platform.

One user, mads, commented: “My kitten is in a cone atm and it’s 10x easier to hold the angry pixar lamp away from my food.” And alex_starxx said: “Why do small animals like cats get so strong all of a sudden when they see food they shouldn’t eat.”

breakyluva4eva wrote: “My black cat is like this with EVERYTHING I EAT. I have to eat standing.” And poseidon7775 added: “Bro’s like, ‘Let me just take a whiff.'”

Another user, trinity._.74 commented: “My cat, who is also orange, is always like this with every kind of food I have even just chips, he’s a goat, he’ll eat anything.”
