A hilarious video shows what a 130-pound cane corso gets up to when its owner leaves the building…and it mainly involves stretching out on the bed, trying to chill with the cat.

The owner set a pet cam in her bedroom pointed at her bed, so she could monitor the situation when she’s not at home, and the dog did not disappoint her.

The clip, shared on TikTok in March under the username brittanyandjax, shows the poster’s cat quietly napping on her bed when all of a sudden her 130-pound cane corso decides to join him.

The pup then moves around the bed trying to find the perfect position between blankets and pillows, trying to get as close as possible to the visibly annoyed cat, who tries in vain to ignore his shenanigans.

Cane corso and cat chill on the bed. A pet owner’s video of the pair has had TikTok viewers in stitches.

“People always ask why we have a camera in our bedroom pointed at our bed. keep watching to find out,” the poster says in the video.

A caption shared with the clip explains: “Jax is 130 pounds and he is not caged when we leave the house. He does not need to be, he does not chew or get into anything and we don’t leave anything out that he could choke or get into that could cause harm, but just in case, we like to have cameras in the house to check on him from time to time.

“We’ve had cameras on him since he has been with us. Ps: I don’t make the bed everyday because I don’t want to.

When introduced properly, cats and dogs can live together with no issues, and even become best of friends. A 2020 study carried out by Italian scientists, published in the journal PLOS ONE, proved this.

According to the study, over 64 percent of the cats and dogs living together also played together; 58 percent chased each other; and 41 percent fought. Almost two-thirds of the pets sometimes playfully “ambushed” the other.

The @brittanyandjax video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 681,400 views and 44,300 likes on the platform.

One user, miasmaticsix, commented: “I love how this showcases the difference between cats and dogs.” And Veahxd said: “Can we all agree cane corso make the best body pillow.”

Tasha added: “Babes I don’t even think about making my bed. sorta pointless when no one else sees my bed.”
