Prominent Putin critic sentenced to 25 years in prison

A Russian courtroom on Monday sentenced one of many Kremlin’s most outstanding critics, Vladimir Kara-Murza, to 25 years in jail. This marks the longest jail sentence ever handed down in opposition to an opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
