For some people, one thing that causes plenty of excitement when it first starts happening, before becoming a bit annoying a few months down the line, is sleeping with your partner.

One woman has pointed out one of the main drawbacks of sharing a bed with your other half—the endless fight for space in the bed and its duvet.

The viral video, viewed more than 7.2 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on February 2, captured the woman being spooned so intensely by her sleeping husband that she’d been unintentionally pushed to the edge of their bed.

“Does anyone else’s husband do this?” the woman asked.

A woman has pointed out what really annoys her about sharing a bed with her other half. Thousands of viewers have shared that they relate.

She then drew attention to the fact that her partner was using her pillow as his and that she was only an inch away from falling off the side of the bed.

The post had been captioned: “Livin’ life on the edge (of the bed)”.

“Millions of people can relate…married life is sleeping on the edge while your spouse takes up the rest of the bed,” the video’s creator, who prefers to remain known by her username @thecringeymillenial, told Newsweek.

A 2021 YouGov poll, that surveyed more than 12,000 U.S. adults, discovered that 16 percent of Americans feel their “ideal sleeping arrangement” would be sleeping in different beds than their partner. Those surveyed had been told to answer assuming that cost was not a concern, and that there would be no emotional impact to the relationship from the bed split.

What Do the Comments Say?

Since being shared to the social media platform by @thecringeymillenial, the TikTok post has been liked by over 452,000 users and commented on more than 9,000 times. Plenty of TikTokers have voiced, through their own funny takes and jokes, how much they relate to the woman in the comments section of the post.

“Oh yes. And then he tells me how little space he had during the night,” one user wrote.

Another user added: “He’s holding my bits snoring in my ear too then later when he wakes up has the audacity to say he didn’t sleep at all.”

“Yep and I love it. Even though he’s a bear that generates more heat than our heater I wouldn’t trade it for the world,” a third TikTok user shared.

A different user commented: “Yep and he dares to tell me ‘you have enough space, it’s 50/50’. It would be if you would be so nice and lower your knee.”

“I woke up hanging off the bed and he still had the audacity to tell me that I was taking up most of the bed,” another user added.
